Community theatres involve more participants, present more performances of more productions and plays to more people than any other performing art in the country (American Association of Community Theatre).

For the past 44 years, Gateway Players Theatre has been a part of the Southbridge community, producing over 220 comedy, dramatic, youth, mystery and musical productions. It has given countless number of people the opportunity to explore and develop their particular interests and talents. I joke about the theater bug biting you – that is exactly what you experience when you become a part of Gateway Players, once you get involved you are involved for a lifetime.

Our 2019 season has been set with shows being performed at Elm Street Congregational Church in Southbridge. Having survived the first year of being out of the Gateway barn, we are still actively looking for a space to call our own. This is not an easy task but I know there is a space out there and we will find it.

At this time we are asking that you consider supporting Gateway Players as a sustaining member in our 44th season. We appreciate all levels of giving, from individuals, families and businesses. As a thank you, we are pleased to offer complimentary tickets to an upcoming Gateway production and your name will be listed in all Gateway Players show programs. Your support will be used to fund our operating budget which allows us to to offer top notch shows.
