Want to Help Out?

There are many ways you can help out your local community theater! Come out and volunteer to work on a show, onstage, or behind the scenes! Do you have skill with a hairbrush, make-up brush, or paintbrush? We can use you! Call 508-764-4531 to see if you can help with our next production. Or read on for more ways to help Gateway continue to provide quality community theater to the tri-community area.

Become a Sustaining Member

We would like to thank everyone who has already contributed to our Sustaining Supporter drive this year. Gateway Players has consistently been a strong, active member of the local community, providing our friends neighbors with the opportunity to participate or attend live theater close to home at a reasonable price. We would like to invite you to become a Sustaining Supporter of this year's season of productions. Gateway consistently presents a variety of shows for the community to enjoy comedies, dramas, murder mysteries, and musicals, along with workshops and special events to fill out our season. In addition to a full year of performances, we also participate in a number of community events, including the Relay for Life, Southbridge Fest, and Charlton's Old Home Day.

As an all-volunteer educational organization, we invite all who are interested to join us on-stage, back-stage, or in any number of support functions around the theater. We want to share our love of live performance with friends of all ages, while making connections with neighbors that can last a lifetime.

As we begin our 38th season, the costs associated with remaining in our home, the Barn, have risen dramatically. As we deal with this increase in the fees to use the building, we begin the process of re-imagining the organization and strengthening our operational outcomes. We need our Sustaining Supporters to be a strong part of this process.

This year, in addition to the recognition list of all Sustaining Supporters posted in our lobby and the complimentary tickets we offer you by way of thanks for your donation, we would like to offer our top-tier donors the opportunity to have framed promotional material placed on our lobby wall, allowing you to share your business' story with everyone who visits the Gateway Theatre.

As thanks for your tax-deductible gift supporting a great arts organization in your community, we'd like to offer you a certificate for tickets to any of the productions this year: The Snow Queen, The Apple Tree, On Golden Pond, Mame, The Children's Hour, and Everything's Relative

Join a Committee - Join the Fun!

Hospitality and Grants Committees Forming

The Gateway Board is looking for a few good people to be the welcoming face of Gateway by working "house" and making the lobby a festive place. Each production has a cast and crew, but we have the feeling more people might like to get involved! With a large group of volunteers, the work---and fun---can be shared.

If interested, please call the theater at (508)-764-4531 and leave a message. Gateway also has a Grants Committee, which is charged with seeking out and applying for grants that will benefit the organization. If you are familiar with grant writing and would like to be on the committee, contact Bill at 508-764-4531 or wguy1988@verizon.net.
