Work
on a Show
There
are many jobs that need to be done in order to get a show to
the stage. Here are some of them:
Actors: See auditions page for upcoming shows
Directors: Must complete a Gateway Directors Workshop
before directing on your own.
Producers: takes care of business.
Stage Managers: responsible for back stage.
Set Designer/Builder: set construction
Costumes: Responsible for wardrobe
Props: Locate/buy props
Tech Crew: Lights and Sound
Stage Crew: Scene changes
Publicity: Get the word out!
Tickets: Sell, Sell, Sell!
Hair / Make-up: Beautify (or ugli-fy) us!
